Reader’s Question:

Is it possible to get car insurance with just PO Box Address only?

Generally, most car insurance providers will require a physical address and not just a PO box to when you purchase a car insurance policy. Your location is used to determine your car insurance rate so if you only use a PO Box address, they cannot rate you properly.

Typically car insurance providers do not want to insure automobiles that do not have a permanent address. If you are living in an RV and do not have a permanent address, you will likely need to search for a car insurance provider that specializes in mobile home insurance.

Most car insurance companies in Florida require a physical address because they need to know know where your residence is so they can quote a car insurance policy using your address location.
